The wineries. Oh, the many wineries of Niagara. They were so unique from each other and we had a blast driving around and visiting as many as we could. I think we ended up going to 12 different ones, but I didn’t get pictures of all of them.
The first one we went to Caroline Cellars. Which we all agreed was our favorite one! All the tastings we had were free, the staff was friendly, and it was some of the best wine we tasted all weekend. We walked away with three bottles. Two 2006 Cranberry Winter Harvest, and one Plum Wine.

Next up, was Joseph’s Estate Wines. They had tasting fees, but we went ahead and tried a few.

Despite all the medals they had won, none of us were that impressed with what they had and walked away empty handed.
After getting back the hotel, Todd and I explored all the shops around the Casino and I wanted to go into this one shop because of the name.

Instead of Cotton Gin, Cotton Ginny. Ginny is one of my nicknames so I was happy when I found a gorgeous sweater that was also on super clearance.
Todd and I then walked to a place called Young Garden for dinner. We were told it was only a few blocks away. I’m guessing the guy at the hotel was thinking of another place because it was more like 14 blocks, it would have been a nice walk if it hadn’t been so windy!

I wanted to try something different and got the Age Dashi Tofu.

It was delicious! The sweet sauce paired with the seaweed and onion worked well with the tofu. It was a huge potion though, four big pieces! Todd doesn’t eat tofu so it was all up to me. I only had two pieces though because I wanted to save room for the main course.

I actually ended up ordering the dish next to Bi Bim Bab because this dish was served cold and I wanted something hot.

Yum! Lots of veggies with a few pieces of beef underneath the giant egg. It also came with a sauce that was extremely spicy! I only used a little because I can’t handle spicy very well.
When we got back we played some card games with our friends while watching the falls’ light show. Here’s the view from our room.

Hard to believe we did even more on Sunday!
