Since I will be busy until we leave on Sunday, I’ll just make a quick list of how I plan to be as healthy as possible while still having a great time.
I will try to stick to my Disney Half training plan as best I can and if I don’t have time to run (some excursions start at 7AM!) I’ll fit in some exercise later on in the day.
I will be walking as much as possible and taking advantage of the gym while on board.
For the excursions, Todd and I always sign up for the hiking/kayaking tours so I know I’ll get some exercise in. I always move a lot more during vacation because we’re out doing things and not glued to the computer for 8+ hours a day like I am at work.

Waterfall Hike in Hawaii

Hike on Deer Island near Mazatlan

4X4 Ride Around Cabo San Lucas, it was very dusty so we had to wear these bandanas around our faces!
So, I’m not worried about the exercise part at all. It’s the all-you-can-eat buffets! From past experience, I know there are plenty of opportunities to be healthy. Like picking salads and fruit instead of burgers and fries, so I just have to put my mind in healthy vacation mode. Luckily, Todd will be there to make sure I don’t go too overboard
I always come back from vacation feeling more refreshed and energized, I hope this one is no exception!
Have a great two weeks!
